As Luv Luxe began to grow, I dreamed of a storefront, but I was cautious and didn’t want to get in over my head too quickly. Growing up in Scottsdale I knew the area well and the time Old Town Scottsdale felt a bit touristy and sleepy, but when a tiny 480-square-foot store front popped up, I thought, why not take the chance? By the grace of God I secured the space, it wasn’t anything glamorous the walls were painted random colors, there was faux brick paneling everywhere, random walls but it was MINE! My very OWN store. I believed in the vision and knew I could do it, I just had to do it conservatively. To fill the shelves at the time, I mixed luxury resale with a home and gift section. It was “eclectic” you could say. I look back at old photos and chuckle now. Greeting cards, candles, baby gifts, you name it we sold it! For sure confusing at times and not brand focused at all, but it brought new faces through the door. Also maybe people who weren’t ready to purchase a luxury piece at the time, was still able to buy something from the Luv Luxe brand and now years later is a luxury resale client. That little shop was actually the same spot I worked in at 15, which makes it feel full circle for me. In fact that little store front is still apart of our store. Today, we’ve expanded off that space into 2 additional store fronts make it one large store and have fully embraced luxury resale. That tiny start made everything possible.
Thanks for being here.
